I’ve got to say, it has been quite a profound learning experience co-founding Help 52. I spent a lot of time in school covering what it’s like to start your own business: the pros, the cons, the challenges. I’m thankful I have such good partners in Aaron and Ryan. We know each other so well; working together has been almost too easy. We each seem to have different strengths and weaknesses. We know what each of us enjoys doing, what we’re good at and the things we aren’t as good at.
This great dynamic between us has actually made it kind of fun for us to go through the challenges we’ve encountered in launching Help 52. No matter what gets in our way, we always know who the best guy among us is to handle it, and we seem to just knock out one obstacle after the other. I’ve come to enjoy facing the hurdles that come up.
A few months ago I shared with Aaron the Latin phrase “Ad augusta per angusta.” It means, “To high places by narrow roads.” I knew Aaron would like it. It has sort of become our unofficial motto for Help 52. I believe it captures the spirit of each of us founders. I hope it will inspire you as well.
I’d like to say thank you to everyone who has supported our organization; helped put us on our narrow road. I look forward to bringing you news of our continued journey.
Best Wishes,
Executive Vice President - Finance
D. Cyphers
